My name is Bri, short for Brianna- but no one ever really calls me by my full name ;-)
I am a Southern California girl at heart, born and raised, who married her college sweetheart some seven years ago, and followed him here to the Valley of the Sun. God has blessed us with two beautiful kids, and I still don't understand what I ever did to deserve the privilege of being their mom.
As every woman does, I wear many hats in life. Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, NICU nurse, resident Anderson household cook {I try}, private chauffeur to our two kids, entertainer and homemaker, and most recently- aspiring photographer.
When our first-born, Bella, was born, my husband bought me our first "fancy" camera... and I was bit by the bug. Many years later, a few new cameras later, and lots of life experience later... I am finally venturing out of my comfort zone of photographing my own family, and hoping to use whatever skill I have learned to bless others.
A few random tid-bits: I am an obsessive cleaner... I love the smell of Pine-Sol and vacuum lines in the carpet make me happy. I can't go a day without coffee. Reality TV shows are my guilty pleasure. I never wear "regular" clothes at home... at any given time you will find me in stretchy yoga pants and a tee-shirt when I'm hanging out at home. I love being a NICU nurse, and consider it a blessing to share that experience with parents. I love sparkling Chardonnay, and it's even better with pieces of frozen fruit floating in it :-) I cry easily, and I hate seeing men cry because it just tears at my heart. I could watch the Lifetime Movie channel all day long, and E.T. is my all-time favorite movie.... still makes me cry to this day. I have dreams of volunteering on medical mission trips overseas someday... I spent 2 1/2 months in Israel when I was 15, and it changed me forever. I like to consider myself a big dreamer, but at the end of the day, I really just want to be home with my husband and two babies. Perhaps that was my dream after all...... is that so bad?
And so here I am. Armed with a heart full of imagination and eagerness to explore photography and bless families with lasting memories- and still ready to learn.
So welcome to my blog and a little piece of me. Sit and stay a while, and enjoy!
