There is nothing in the world quite like a sister.
Growing up with only one sibling, my sister was my whole world. We laughed, fought, teased, tattle-taled, forgave, shared, and chatted our way through our childhoods together.
A few years ago, we went on a special “sisters-only-trip” and she gave me a small book that was filled with fun {and honestly accurate!} quotes about sisters. We read them together and laughed out loud at how surprisingly true many of the quotes were in our own lives.
I recently had the privilege of visiting these adorable twin sisters, and was able to capture a few images for proud mom & dad. As I sat at my computer looking at the images, I started thinking about all the amazing {and frustrating!} experience these little girls have ahead of them together. And so, I decided as I display a sneak peek of a few of the images, I would share some of my favorite quotes from the book my sister gave me.
Enjoy your sneak peek mom & dad, more will be on it’s way soon!![]()

“No matter who you’ve become, your sister knows where you began, how it all started. She may be the only person who had the ability to recount every good, great or stupid thing you’ve ever done. She understand the girl inside the grown-up woman you are today….and that is no small thing.”

“With a little teamwork, you and your sister can get Dad to believe that taking you out for ice cream was actually his idea.”

“You’re not just sisters. You are two people bound by the fact that you know far too many embarrassing stories about each other.”

“With a sister, no background information is ever required when telling a story. How great is that?”

“A sister is like a therapist. A therapist who will loan you her sweater, give you half her dessert, or a ride to the airport.”

“How it is possible- nobody knows, but sisters all over the world understand that it is absolutely possible to love somebody who used to drive you nuts- and maybe sometimes still does.”

“Nothing screams irony like finally having your long-awaited privacy, your own grown-up life, and you wind up calling your sister all the time….just to see what she is doing.”

“The best thing about having a sister, is that you always have a friend.”
