My name is Bri, short for Brianna, but rarely does anyone call me by my full name :) . I am a true California girl, born near the beaches of Southern California, and also raised in Northern California, only to now find myself here in the Valley of the Sun. Married for eight years, I met and married my college sweetheart, and we are blessed with two incredible children.

Like every other woman out there, I wear many hats in life. Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, NICU nurse, resident Anderson-household cook and family organizer, private chauffeur to our two kiddos, and photographer. It all started 7 years ago when I bought my first "fancy" camera... now 7 years later { lots of practice..new equipment... frustration...even a few "camera-time-outs" later...} I am even more in love with photography then when I started.

A few random tid-bits about me ~ I am an obsessive cleaner, and I love vacuum lines in carpet and the smell of Pine-Sol. Embarrassing? Maybe.
I love having scented candles lit around the house, and even better when I'm cooking. I live for my weekly date nights with my husband, and one of my favorite moments of any day is when my 4 year old son runs up to me and gives me one of his unsolicited bear hugs. Just because he loves me :)
I would choose sour candy over chocolate any day, I love watching old Lifetime movies on TV {admit- you do too}, and my favorite movie of all time is E.T. Yes, I know its weird, but I love it.

So here I am now. Armed with new ideas and creativity~ and wanting to tackle it all.

And yet at the end of the day, what I want most is to be at home with my family~ perhaps that was my dream after all .... is that so bad?

My favorite kind of pictures are ones of those who are special to meAnd today I get to share my very wonderful friend, Kim.

Kim has the type of soft nature that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever, the instant you meet her. We bonded right away, and she’s been a friend ever since. She’s gives me encouragement when I need it, she always makes me laugh, and she’s a trusted confidant. Not only that, but she’s a fabulous wife, NICU nurse, and an even better mommy to her 3 year old Jack. A woman of many talents, indeed!!

When I first started venturing outside my comfort zone and photographing other peoples’ kids besides my own, she let me practice on Jack when he was just a baby. She always encouraged me to keep going and learning about photography, and she’s been a strong supporter ever since. And now I get the pleasure of photographing her beautiful baby bump!
