Yes, it’s true.
The children of a photographer… never get photographed.
Sadly, I am usually so burnt out on taking pictures, that I often forget to pull the camera out for my own family memories. So I’m trying to be better about that- but lugging my giant camera around Disneyland on my shoulder is not my idea of fun. And when we go to Disneyland, we are on the run. Literally! No strollers, no big bags slowing us down… we are a fast family, and its hard to keep up with us. So we bring whatever can fit into our pockets- and thats it!
So, my handy dandy iPhone will just have to do for now

And yes- these kids are all related (some way or another). The crazy part is, there are four more cousins missing from this picture!
Going on lots of rides…
And Bella and Marley entertained each other by coming up with new “poses” for the camera on each ride.
Of course we had to have a little beach time. My favorite happy place
And the usual afternoon at Sea World ~
The kids filled their days swimming with Papa, cooking with Grandma, playing outside and enjoying some time off from school.
But before we knew it- it was time to jump bad into our normal routine. Sometimes, a week escape is exactly what you need.
And we loved it.
