What a lovely blog post. I would love to take pictures of my parents – in 2 years they will have been married for 40 years. However, my Mom is self conscious about the way she looks. Diets have turned their back on her and she hates being in front of the camera. She will either hide or cut herself out of pictures. Your mother, despite her health, look absolutely amazing – she looks like a young bride, in love, still glowing. God has truly blessed you with amazing parents.

Oh Bri,…I just love these pictures, Dad and I will treasure them for a lifetime! Aside from our wedding 30 years ago, we’ve never had professional pictures taken, so this was new and fun…and the fact that the incredibly talented photographer was our daughter, made the experience even more special!!! John and Sharon are two of the loveliest couples I have ever known. They not only love each other, but really nurture each other, their family and friends. They make each person feel loved by God and special to them. They don’t just sprinkle love, they lavish it in unique ways. I love them dearly, am so proud of them and their family, am inspired by them…. In a life time of knowing many fine people — they stand out with their arms reaching for all of us. God has spared Sharon so that she and John could give a glimpse to others of beautiful Christian lives and a creative Christian home. Their exceptional parenting and grand-parenting is breathtaking to behold. They have servants hearts — quietly giving to others of time, resources, and kindness.

It’s quite funny, actually. As adults, we think about what we are going to say before we say it (well, most of the time anyways). Then we have this funny way of analyzing everything and anything that someone says- women are especially good at this one. But kids do not do this. They have no filter....
