Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a love for open spaces… fields of wispy grasses, wildflowers and weeds…. and the dewy glow of sunset. So when Ursula and I started brainstorming a vision for her pictures, I was definitely taking chance with something new! But Ursula just blew me away.

Her confidence, her sweet smile, her undeniable beauty, and her obvious excitement to meet her baby girl, made her simply glow in picture after picture.

Soft.  Lovely.  Feminine.  Classic.

I loved it!

You know the type of friend where no matter how much time has gone by, or where life has taken you~  the minute you get on the phone or see each other, it’s like no time has passed at all?

She is one of those friends

John and I met Matt and Rebekah when we were just mere kids ourselves who had just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and had moved to a new city for new jobs and an adventure. We just clicked right away as friends, and bonded over chatting about newlywed life and our big plans for the future. Just a little later down the road, they were some of the first friends to find out that we were pregnant with our oldest, Bella. We had definitely become fast friends, and always felt so at ease in our friendship. Even when John and I made the move to Arizona, we had the type of friendship that would pick right back up where we left off, every time we talked.

Fast forward many years later, our family has grown~ and theirs is about to get bigger as well! They are getting ready to welcome their second daughter into the world, and Rebekah was able to sneak away by herself for a few days to come see me and have some girl time before the baby is born. And of course I had to take some pictures of her beautiful self.. how could I not? She’s radiant!! 

Love you Rebekah, and I just love our time together! Can’t wait till the next time we see each other, and I get to meet that precious new baby! xoxo

Expecting her second little girl {Dad’s gonna have his hands full with his three beauties!}, Lindsay was just as radiant in person as she is in pictures. With an adventurous  spirit and carefree laugh, she is incredibly lovely and endearing the moment you meet her.

And she orchestrated these maternity pictures to be a special mother/daughter session as as surprise gift for her husband! Love it! =)

She absolutely glowed with every click of my camera, and her adorable daughter?… Well, lets just say the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree =).

Her bubbly giggly and personality literally shines right out of her.   And my camera loved it. 

Love their sweet, genuine bond.  Nothing beats the joy between a mom and her daughter.

And FYI Lindsay ~   you. are. beautiful.

Yes, she is stunning. Perhaps you would even say glowing.

There must be something in this Arizona water, because the women here make pregnancy look goooood.  And what’s even more beautiful about Kelley, is that she is even more lovely on the inside. And that is the best kind of beauty.

One of the most lovely sights to see on winter evening, is a warm and yummy Arizona sunset, and a glowing mama-to-be…. and I still can’t decide which is more beautiful ~
