This beautiful mama is a returning client of mine, and each time I photograph her, I am amazed at her quiet beauty. Very humble and soft-spoken, she is an absolute delight to be around. She has such an intense love for her little family, and is bursting with joy to be expecting thier second little boy.
Thank you again Nicole, for always inviting me to photograph these seasons in your life. You are a fabulous mom, and I’m excited to watch your family grow!
It’s not the most original name, but it really says it all.
Next year Ty will start Kindergarten, and my days of having a little one at home with me will be no longer
. It will be on to the next phase… the next step in childhood.
So for this last year, Ty goes to preschool three days a week- leaving the other two days at home with mom
. We make plans to eat out at lunch, see a movie, go mini golfing, go bowling, play at arcades, go to the zoo, do puzzles… whatever we feel like doing that day. After a little while, Ty started affectionately calling these days “Mommy & Tyler Day”.
It was sweet, and came straight from his heart. Mommy & Tyler Day was the perfect way to phrase it.
And now, he reminds me when one of these days is coming up. He’ll give me one of his huge dimpled-grins and say, “Mommy, guess what tomorrow is?? Mommy & Tyler Day!!”
Everything about him makes me burst with joy. And for right now- at this very moment- he wants to spend time with me. He treasures that time together. It may not last forever, but hopefully I am creating a relationship with him that lasts clear into adulthood.
Because he’s not the only one who looks forward to Mommy & Tyler Days!!

You are such a cute mom Bri! And all these pictures make me smile! Look at how happy Tyler is…love that guy
When I first met Aimee, she was getting ready to take her twin girls home from our NICU that day. We chatted about pictures, and luckily, we were able to get some in while her girls were still tiny newborns. Over the past two years, I have been photographing the girls as they grow up, and so I was thrilled when Aimee called me to tell me that they were expecting a new baby!
It’s such a privilege to be asked time and time again to photograph someone… it’s like I’ve literally watched their family grow, and I get to develop friendships that go beyond just having clients. Aimee, in particular, is always up for an adventure. And she always trusts me when I lead her all over the valley to strange locations
. And I should really consider myself lucky, because with a model like this- my job is easy! Thanks again Aimee & Matt, and I’ll be seeing you soon!
